The East Coast Trial Grounds were set up to trial Australian and overseas roses for East Coast conditions.
Toowoomba, Queensland has a trial ground in the Newton Park Gardens and
the National Rose Society of Australia has trial gardens in the Adelaide Botanical Gardens.
